Co zrobić „na początku”?
Przed podjęciem decyzji o zmianach zasad i składników wynagrodzenie należy dokładnie przyjrzeć się istniejącym uwarunkowaniom i potrzebom. Faktem jest, że systemy wynagrodzeń „zużywają” się, a w motywowaniu pracowników w przedsiębiorstwie pojawiają się tendencje do równego typu działań i praktyk – zazwyczaj szkodliwych. Każda analiza systemu wynagradzania musi zostać dostosowana do uwarunkowań i potrzeb organizacji. Jednakże podstawowe elementy dla dużych i średnich przedsiębiorstw są wspólne. Tak, więc kompleksowy przegląd – analiza (audyt) systemu wynagrodzeń w firmie przykładowo może obejmować kilkanaście kluczowych elementów (z których większość lub część zostaną wybrane do zastosowania w konkretnym przypadku). Przeglądy te, każdorazowo powinny zostać dostosowane do specyficznych uwarunkowań, wielkości i potrzeb przedsiębiorstwa. Jednak podstawowe założenia mogą być wspólne.
